Disclaimer
SignSealShip provides a technology platform for electronic signatures, online notarization coordination, and document shipping. SignSealShip is not a law firm, a notary public, or a substitute for an attorney, and does not provide legal advice, choose legal documents, or draft or review documents for legal sufficiency. You are responsible for uploading the correct completed document. Notarial acts are performed by independent, state-commissioned notaries or approved remote online notarization (RON) provider partners under the laws of their commissioning states; notaries cannot provide legal advice. Communications with SignSealShip and with notaries are not protected by attorney–client privilege. Remote online notarization availability and document eligibility vary by state and document type. Use of this site is subject to our Terms of Service.
Who we are
SignSealShip provides a technology platform for electronic signatures, coordination of remote online notarization (RON) with independent commissioned notaries, and printing and shipping of executed documents.
Who we are not
SignSealShip is not a law firm, not a notary public, not an attorney referral service, and not a substitute for the advice of a licensed attorney. No SignSealShip employee or system will select a document for you, prepare or complete it, or review it for legal sufficiency.
No legal advice
Nothing on this site — including state explainers, document categories, FAQs, pricing guidance, or order-flow messages — is legal advice. Information is provided for convenience and may not reflect the most recent legal developments in your state.
Your document, your responsibility
You are responsible for choosing and completing the correct document for your purpose and for confirming that the receiving party (a court, county recorder, title company, bank, or agency) will accept an electronically signed and/or remotely notarized document.
Independent notaries
Notarial acts arranged through SignSealShip are performed by independent, state-commissioned notaries or approved RON provider partners acting under the laws of their commissioning states. Notaries are not SignSealShip employees, cannot provide legal advice, and may decline any act they believe is improper. We never use the term “notario público.”
No attorney–client privilege
Communications with SignSealShip and with notaries are not protected by attorney–client privilege or the work-product doctrine.
State availability varies
Remote online notarization is currently unavailable or restricted for notaries commissioned in certain states (including CA, GA, MS, SC, AL, CT, and SD), and Connecticut excludes real-estate documents. Signers in most of these states can typically use a notary commissioned in another state — see state availability for details.
Fees are itemized
Every quote separates the notary fee (passed through at the configured cost and never inflated by document type), platform workflow fees, live carrier postage, and disclosed handling fees. Postage and government fees are never marked up or discounted.
Guarantee scope
Any satisfaction guarantee applies to our execution of the services you purchased — it is not a guarantee of legal outcome, acceptance by any third party, or fitness of your document for its purpose. Completed notarial acts and purchased postage outside carrier void windows are non-refundable.
